Entre lo barbárico y el olvido. Los medios y la producción de las bandas en la España contemporània

Abstract

The article analyze the development of a narrative on gangs in contemporary Spain through an ethnography realized among medias professionals and others key actors in the production of a discourse on the topic. The analysis is focussed on the link between narratives, sources, process of in/visibilization, legitimating of cero tolerance policies, and impact in term of stigma generation on youth with migrant origin.
