Abstract

In popular traditions abound places that claim healing properties. In this case of study, "The Queen Lupa", is linked a mountain in Galicia, Pico Sacro. In this place, we find legends and rituals related to this queen and processes of healing and fertility. Most of these rites have fallen into disuse, but not the healing characteristics of the place, which have adapted to the new forms of spirituality and health. This article wants to analyze these updates, which start from a material substrate that intersects and draws bridges between traditional knowledge and new spiritualities. The mountain are characterized by their rich medicinal herbs and quartz crystals, providing materials for current use in therapies alternatives and adapting these uses to techniques characteristic of these therapies, such as the elaboration of floral essences and crystals starting from the bases established by Dr. Eduard Bach.
